Here is a BW I took last Friday...... Canon SX10 IS was the camera of choice.

Stunning composition Jim! Super shot. Any particular reason why you preferred to take B&W? Looks great though.

I have been experimenting with black & white and it seems to me that some of the shots I do come out better in black & white. I have taken a similar shot like this one in color and it doesn't seem to have the perspective black & white does. I know it seems strange....

Nice capture - I think B&W works well. Maybe because it makes shapes stand out more without the "distraction" of colour? (I'm thinking of the eagle standing out so clearly against the backdrop of the building.) Don't know. But it looks good to me.
