Why can't I find a contact for the admin on this website to report this user spamming me?

I banned her about an hour ago...But I don't see a way in the Admin Control Panel, to disable her from sending out PM's...

Yeah I had one in my message box. I deleted it. So hopefully she didn't give me anything. Did a virus thing today and I was clean. will run another one tonight. Thank god I didn't click anything in the message just deleted

Whatever you do, DO NOTclick on that link. I too sent a receipt but that only confirms my email address through the forum, not my home email address. Clicking on that link though could be deadly to your hard drive. Since I had not posted here on the forum for awhile, and since I have Zone Alarm and a couple other Anti-Virus checks, I was almost positive that my machine was not infected, but I am willing to bet had I gone to the link, it would have been, if any data was left to infect.
Don't know why you banned her, but I guess we all need to be careful as she appears to be a bit radical. I just hope others check this before checking that link. BCClicker..... Quote:

I am no longer much active on this forum, but I have been getting these spams from various "administrators" for a few weeks as well -- anyway, it seems ignoring them is best -- I'm just going to delete them all and then have a browse around the site, which I haven't done for a while, a few familiar names still here I see. I was wondering when I was gonna get one....I was feeling left out cus everybody else was getting one but not me...loll. also, all these ads for porn is getting really annoying! can this forum be put onto another server or a complaint sent to the ISP for this forum? more than likely these are computer bots... the admin of this forum needs to update the security protocols and maybe even the software for this forum.

As Antares (creator and owner of S3/5 Users site) is the only person with high enough authority to do anything really constructive here - and he hasn't posted for months!
 - we're all gonna just have to put up with it and do all we can to alert others to the risks... and when anyone see's any spamming going on, to report it to Gregg (Bodyslide) so he can ban the offending culprit.Just to remind everyone, the ONLY Admin here are :- Antares Bodyslide Bull_66 RobinG

I just got the same 'virus alert' message, threatening to ban me from the group. Didn't click on any links. Glad I found this thread... guess I'm not the only one with a 'virus' on my Mac
