Default Self Timer Multiple Shot Doesn't Work

When in self timer mode, and shooting mode set to Auto, the camera shoots only a single shot, although I have set it up for multiple shots. Any ideas why?

Tested this method on my S3 for you. The custom timer method worked for me - set to 3 shots and 3 shots were taken in a row. Perhaps you accidentally chose the wrong timer mode. You have to push the self timer button twice to get to "C" on my camera.

If you are using continuous shooting, the self timer won't work in Auto mode. You'll have to switch to another mode.

Deb's right.
My S5 will only shoot a single shot in the 10-sec and 2-sec timer modes.
For multiple shots using the self timer, you must be in Custom Timer and have it set up in the Menu.
The Self Timer is accessable via the button directly behind the shutter release on the S5. Keep pressing until you reach the Custom Timer mode.
