Welcome to the forum!
He's a little cutie! Have fun taking pictures of him. The bathshot is the best but the others really aren't that bad at all! I'm still learning how to get photos of the little ones and find it a challenge. I'm working on a few areas and maybe these might help you somehow. 1. Try not to chop off part of the head accidentally, don't chop off feet or hands in a full body shot especially. 2. Try to rotate the camera instead of always holding it long ways. 3. Learning about lighting and in sunny weather the shade helps. 4. Darn shutter speed will sometimes be way to slow and the baby is blurry. Use P mode but learn to use AV or TV soon! Those are some things I'm working on. meanwhile I just keep shooting and trying and am happy that I'll have memories even if they aren't so "pro-looking". I hope you post more! Maybe we can learn together. I get lost with technical talk so I can only explain myself with non camera words. sigh I suspect I am not really much help after all.

I took about 20 different shots outside and those are the only 2 that turned out ok. I don't understand camera talk either!! I'm on a photography course but not getting anywhere as I only have a hybrid camera, everyone else in the class has EOS cameras, but unfortunately getting one of those is out of the question for me at the moment. I have seen some great shots with the S5 in the past though so I hope in time I can get better
![]() When I use TV mode the photo always comes out dark and grainy, I've tried to up the iso and exposure but it's still not right. Guess that's something else I need to learn! I'm hoping to take some more pictures of my nephew tomorrow afternoon, I'll post some of them here ![]()
